Harav Baruch Saks, Zt”l
Hamodia is saddened to report the petirah of Harav Baruch Saks, zt”l.
Rav Saks was a magid shiur in Yeshiva of Staten Island for over half a century, and was the Rav of the Zeirei Agudas Yisrael minyan in Boro Park for many years. He also served as the Mara d’Asra in Camp Magen Avraham for decades, and was remembered for the ruach he brought to seudah shlishis each week.
After moving to Lakewood, he was appointed as the Rav of the Pine River Village Nusach Sefard Minyan.
The levayah began Monday at noon at the Pine River Village Shul in Lakewood, and then continued at Yeshiva of Staten Island at about 2:45 p.m. Kevurah is scheduled in Eretz Yisroel.
