Meron Disaster Inquiry Committee Set to Limit Hadlakos

The Meron Disaster Inquiry Committee announced Sunday its plan to submit recommendations for Meron 2022 events.

The committee requested updates from all parties involved in  the preparations for celebrations this coming year. By all indications, all hadlakos will be eliminated, except for one central one that will take place in a limited capacity.

The Forum for Families of Meron Tragedy welcomed the announcement. “The committee’s demand from the various government bodies to provide it with an update on the preparations for the Meron 2022 events is a welcome decision that can save lives. It is a sacred duty to ensure that the Rashbi celebration will take place without risking human life.”
