Downtick in Israel’s COVID Cases

Israel’s health authorities marked a downtick in new COVID-19 infections on Wednesday, with 3,550 cases testing positive of the 99,051 tested.

The number of seriously ill patients is 639, a decrease of 27 serious patients compared to Wednesday; 219 patients are on respirators.

The number of deaths since the outbreak of the pandemic rose by seven on Wednesday, bringing it to 7, 734.

To date, 3,326,167 people have received their third booster dose of the vaccine, 5,632,689 their second dose and 6,108,800 the first dose.
