Military Security Coordinator Prevents Attack in Neria

Vigilance by the Military Security Coordinator (Rabsha”tz) of Neria and security forces prevented a possible infiltration and attack on the Neria in the Binyomin Region.

On Motzaei Shabbos at approximately 11:30 PM, three suspicious figures were observed traveling northward toward the security path of the Neria settlement.

As the figures approach the first line of houses, the Rabsha”tz and security forces revealed themselves and the terrorists fled back to their village.

“On Motzaei Shabbos we identified the suspects and a race against time began to prevent them from penetrating the settlement,” said Aharon of the Rabsha”tz of Neria. “The responsibility for the safety of the residents is my responsibility, and I am glad that we succeeded in a joint effort to thwart their plans.

“My understanding of the area and the route they were taking in the sector leads me to believe that they had nothing to do in this area in the middle of the night other than an intention to infiltrate the settlement and attack.”
