Israeli Police May Be Gaining Upper Hand in Controlling Rioters

Israeli police have arrested 374 suspects so far in riots across the country, which medical sources have reported 36 policemen were lightly injured.

During the last few hours, Israel Police have gained control of all the main hotspots, while there are still a number of incidents in which border patrol officers and police are working in tandem to disperse the rioters.

Earlier this evening, it was reported that two suspects, residents of Lod in their 20s, were arrested on suspicion of carrying out a number of shooting incidents at police officers during disturbances that took place last night in Lod. The suspects were stopped on their way to Jaffa where they were apparently planning to further disturb the order.
