Visitors Arrive in Meron by Various Means

The Ministry of Transportation has reported that by 8:00 p.m., 923 buses departed from all over the country in the direction of Meron, carrying about 42,300 passengers. Of these, more than 600 buses have already reached the city, carrying 28,000 passengers. In the coming hours, 330 more buses are expected to arrive from all over the country.
In addition, the Ministry of Transportation has operated 128 shuttles from the train station, including about 9,000 visitors for the festivities. Another 454 shuttles have operated from the private car parking lots in Kahal and Tzivon, and from the parking lots in Safed, Parod and Ein Hozim. These shuttles were ridden by over 20,500 people. Kahal parking lot for the private car is closed due to full occupancy.
