More than one million passengers have taken flights every day since March 10th, as restrictions ease and people take advantage of the warm weather to travel for vacation.

More than 1.5 million people passed through TSA airport security on April 1st, more than twelve times the number of travelers on April 1st, 2020 but still significantly below pre-pandemic levels.

WCBS880 reported that the CDC issued new guidelines indicating that fully vaccinated travelers do not need to test before or after travel, but encourages everyone to be cautious.

Though the United States is rapidly increasing its vaccination push, with 4 million doses distributed in 24-hours over the weekend, cases have been rising in 27 states.

Experts have cautioned local governments against rapidly easing or ending restrictions, but few have listened.  In Miami, Florida, the mayor issued a curfew after vacationers caused chaos with massive unmasked parties.
