A chareidi man, an employee of the Kol Chai radio station, was attacked on Sunday morning as he traveled on a bus in central Israel.
An unidentified person approached him and told him, “Because of you people, the corona came [to Israel].”
The man proceeded to hit the chareidi man in the stomach, causing the employee’s nose to bleed.
A complaint was filed with the police.
The management of Kol Chai radio said in a statement in response to the incident: “This is an unprecedented result of the anti-Semitic incitement against the chareidi public, which led a hot-tempered young man to use severe violence against a person. We demand this violence be condemned unequivocally.”
