Starting March 17th, this Wednesday, millions more New Yorkers will be eligible for the coronavirus vaccine, and from any statewide location.

Vaccine appointments are no longer restricted by zip code, and in all locations but pharmacies there is no prioritizing eligible people based on category.

An additional ten vaccination sites throughout the city will be opened on Friday, with slots opening at 8 am on Wednesday. To schedule an appointment, New Yorkers can call 1-833-NYS-4-VAX or register online.

People now eligible include all adults over sixty, social service workers, building service workers, sanitation workers, public works employees, government inspectors, DMV staff, and election workers, NBC 4 reported.

Healthcare workers, teachers, adults with preexisting conditions, and those living in nursing and residential homes continue to be eligible.
