More Chareidi Cities Now ‘Green’

The Health Ministry released data showing that the cities of Bnei Brak, Beitar Illit and Modi’in Illit are now coded “green,” while Elad, Emanuel and Rechasim are “yellow.” Kiryat Ye’arim (Telshe Stone) is coded “orange.”

The chareidi sector accounts for 7% of all morbidity in Israel. The percentage of positive tests in the chareidi sector is 2.7%. In the general sector the positive percentage is 2.6%.

The vaccine index shows that 169,200 chareidim have been vaccinated. Segmented by age, 89% of those aged 50 and over have been vaccinated, 88% of those aged 30 to 49 and 87% aged 15 to 29 are vaccinated after one week of the second vaccine or are listed as recovered patients.
