Report: Netanyahu Looking to Visit Gulf Before Elections

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is looking to visit the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain before the Knesset elections, Walla news reported Wednesday.

The trip has already been postponed a number of times.

The report quoted senior Israeli officials as saying that efforts are currently underway to set a date for the trip within the next two weeks.

Sources in the Emirates, however, have in recent weeks expressed concern that such a visit would be an intervention in the Israeli elections, the report added.
