Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is looking to visit the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain before the Knesset elections, Walla news reported Wednesday.

The trip has already been postponed a number of times.

The report quoted senior Israeli officials as saying that efforts are currently underway to set a date for the trip within the next two weeks.

Sources in the Emirates, however, have in recent weeks expressed concern that such a visit would be an intervention in the Israeli elections, the report added.
