Superbus Bus Company to Replace Egged in Yerushalayim
In a report on News1, it was announced that by the summer of 2023, all Egged lines in the center of Yerushalayim will be handed over to the winner of the tender to operate public transportation in central Yerushalayim, Superbus.
The move will take place in three stages. In the first stage, by November 2021, 14 lines will move to Superbus and 10 new lines will be introduced.
The second stage will take place 18 months from now, with more lines transferred and consolidated.
The third stage, scheduled for summer 2023, will finalize the move of a further 15 lines, and seven new lines will start operating.
