After the reopening of nearly all schools across the country, five people from a preschool class in the Navon school in Rechovot have been diagnosed with the virus over the past week.

The entire preschool staff along with the class were instructed to go into quarantine, and the school was closed on Thursday.

On Thursday, an assistant at a kindergarten in Rishon LeTzion was diagnosed with the coronavirus, and the children at the kindergarten were sent into quarantine.

Staff members and children at a Bnei Brak special education kindergarten were sent into quarantine after a teaching assistant was diagnosed with the coronavirus, and some fifty children at a kindergarten in north Tel Aviv were also sent into quarantine after a staff member tested positive for the coronavirus.

Recent weeks have seen a sharp decline in the number of new coronavirus cases, with many restrictions being lifted.
