33-Year-Old With Pre-Existing Condition Is Israel’s 279th Coronavirus Fatality

A 33-year-old man has passed away from coronavirus at the Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer on Wednesday morning.

The man was named as Avishalom Rozilio, z”l, a resident of Migdal Ha’emek. He reportedly suffered from a pre-existing chronic lung condition and had to use artificial means of respiration even before he contracted the coronavirus two months ago. He was hospitalized together with other family members, who have meanwhile recovered.

Avishalom, the youngest man to succumb to coronavirus in Israel, is survived by his wife and son.
