High Court to Hear Cases Against Netanyahu Next Week

High Court President Justice Esther Hayut on Tuesday afternoon approved a hearing on several petitions against Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu forming a government, as well as petitions against the Gantz-Netanyahu coalition agreement.

The petition hearing will be held over two days, Sunday and Monday. On Sunday, the Court will hear the petitions against the legality of the task of forming the government on an MK who is under indictment, in this case Netanyahu. On Monday, the petitions against the coalition agreement between the Likud and the Blue and White parties will be heard.

Eleven judges from the High Court will sit on the panel: President Esther Hayut, Deputy President Hanan Meltzer, Justice Neal Hendel, Justice Uzi Fogelman, Justice Yitzchak Amit, Justice Noam Solberg, Justice Daphne Barak-Erez, Justice Manny Mazuz, Justice Anat Baron, Justice George Kara and Justice David Mintz.
