Israel’s Coronavirus Death Toll Rises to 187

The coronavirus death toll in Israel rose to 187 Wednesday morning, as the death rate continues to slow, with six fatalities over the last 24 hours.

The Health Ministry recorded a total of 14,326 cases, a rise of 443 infections in the last day, nearly double the increase as compared to a day earlier.

148 patients are listed in serious condition, 111 of them on ventilators.

Meanwhile, 4,961 patients have recovered, baruch Hashem, leaving 9,178 cases still active. The number of new infections has now far been outpaced by the number of patients who have recovered from the virus, with 458 recoveries recorded on Tuesday, compared to 229 new cases.
