BD’E – Rabbi Yaakov Dov Rosenbaum, Z”l

We are saddened to inform our readers of the petirah of Rabbi Yaakov Dov (Yankel) Rosenbaum, z”l, founder of Bais Rochel Girls School in Monsey, New York. The levayah took place this afternoon in Bais Rochel. The maspidim included his two brothers Rabbi Duvid and Moshe ybl’c, his mechutan Harav Osher Weiss of Yerushalayim, Harav Chaim Yehoshua Halberstam, Rav of Satmar in Monsey, Harav Dovid Margareten, Rav of Khal Bais Yisrael of Monsey, and his two sons, Rabbi Tzvi Meir and Rabbi Yitzchak, and his son in law Rabbi Elimelech Ringel.

Kevurah is planned on Tuesday in Eretz Yisrael on Har Hamenuchos.
