A tank with IDF soldiers participating in a military exercise overturned in northern Israel Monday morning. No one was injured in the unusual event, but the tank was damaged. The tank was traveling on a road along the northern border in heavy fog, along a mountainous ridge. An investigation has been opened into the specific circumstances of the incident.

IDF soldiers overnight Monday seized tens of thousands of shekels in terror funds from homes in Arab villages in the Shomron. The funds were part of payments made by Hamas and the Palestinian Authority to the families of terrorists for committing terror acts against Israelis, officials said.

Overnight Sunday, security officials said they arrested nine wanted security suspects in other areas in Yehudah and Shomron. The suspects were wanted for participating in rioting and throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. Several of the suspects were also charged with belonging to Hamas. All were being questioned on their activities by security forces.
