Record-Breaking Blood Drive in Shomron
The Shomron regional council announced on Sunday that its current blood drive has broken all records.
Donations exceeded 783, with as many as 1,000 expected by the end of the day.
The previous record for a municipality was set during a blood drive in Tel Aviv during the 2014 Gaza War.
The drive was organized by Shomron Regional Brigade Commander Sagiv Dahan, in cooperation with Magen David Adom and the Shomron Regional Council, after his wife was saved last month by donated blood during birthing complications, Arutz Sheva reported.
