Prisoners Released in Shalit Deal Killed 10

YERUSHALAYIM

The IDF said on Monday that at least ten people have been killed by Palestinian terror prisoners who were released in the massive swap for Gilad Shalit, an Israeli soldier who had been held hostage for over five years.

Following prolonged negotiations, Shalit was returned to Israel in 20111 in exchange for 1,027 Palestinian and Israeli Arab prisoners.

The ten killings occurred during the last eight years, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit disclosed in response to a freedom of information request by the right-wing organization Betzalmo.

In addition, some 100 of the released terrorists have been rearrested after committing security-related offenses, the military said.
