Emergency Meetings in Health Ministry

Israel’s Health Ministry’s spokesman reported that Deputy Health Minister Rabbi Yaakov Litzman is holding an emergency discussion concerning the health care system for the emergency situation caused by the hostilities by the southern border with Gaza.

Due to the security situation, an emergency discussion in the Health Ministry is taking place with Deputy Health Minister Rabbi Yaakov Litzman concerning the preparedness of emergency teams, in order to certify the readiness of the health care system during the conflict in Gaza.

Participating in the meeting are professionals from all relevant bodies, including the IDF, Home Front Command, Medical Corps, Magen David Adom, Kupat Cholim and hospitals.

The meetings are being held in the Emergency Department of the Ministry of Health.
