Gaza Arab terrorists fired rockets at Israel early Thursday morning. The rockets fell in an open area in the Shaar Hanegev regional council. The Red Alert warning system sounded, sending thousands to bomb shelters. Earlier, IDF planes had hit several targets in Gaza after terrorists dispatched terror balloons at Israel.

IDF soldiers on Wednesday night arrested three terrorists who were caught red-handed throwing rocks at Israeli vehicles on Road 60 in the Gush Etzion region. The Arabs were throwing rocks from a building on the side of the road in the El-Aroub refugee camp. Arabs also threw rocks at an Israeli bus further north on Road 60, in the town of Hizme, near Shechem. On Wednesday, the Civil Administration gave a go-ahead for the construction of bypass roads at both those locations in order to avoid similar attacks.

Overnight Wednesday, security officials said they arrested 17 wanted security suspects in other areas in Yehudah and Shomron. The suspects were wanted for participating in rioting and throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. Several of the suspects were also charged with belonging to Hamas. All were being questioned on their activities by security forces.
