BD”E: Rabbi Dr. Yaakov Greenwald, Z”l
Rabbi Dr. Yaakov Greenwald, z”l, was niftar this week in Yerushalayim.
Formerly of Monsey, he was a famous psychologist and the owner of Camp Kol-Ree-Nah. In the first of his two volumes of Eitzos Vehadrachos, he published a series of letters he received from the Steipler, zt”l, concerning mental health issues.
His son is Reb Itche Mayer Greenwald of Lakewood. Reb Yaakov was predecased by his brothers, noted askanim, Reb Sidney Greenwald and Reb Ronnie Greenwald.
