BDE: Mrs. Adela Kryman, A”h
Mrs. Adela Kryman, of Boro Park, matriarch of a family of prominent Gerrer chassidim, was niftar at the age of 92.
She spent the war years in Siberia. After the war, she married Reb Kalman Kryman, z”l.
They first lived in St. Louis, where they were big baalei hachnasas orchim, before moving to Boro Park, becoming pillars of the Gerrer community.
She is survived by sons Reb Berel, Reb Pinchas and Reb Moshe, and a daughter, Mrs. Esther Garfinkel. Her son-in-law, Rabbi Chaim Garfinkel, is administrator of Yeshiva Yagdil Torah in Boro Park.
Her levayah will be held in Boro Park, at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, at Shomrei Hadas Chapels, located at 3803 14th Ave. Kevurah will be in Eretz Yisrael.
