Israel Air Force helicopters on Monday attacked two Hamas posts in the southern Gaza Strip in response to a cluster of balloons carrying an explosive device launched by Gaza-based terrorists towards Israel.
A spokesperson for the Eshkol Regional Council, in which the explosive charge landed, stated that the balloon landed between two homes and exploded on the ground, causing no injuries or damage. No one was home at the time of the attack. There were no wounded or casualties, said the statement, as well as no damage caused to properties.
On Sunday, the IDF struck a Hamas outpost after an explosive device was thrown over the border fence in northern Gaza. No injuries were reported as a result of the strike, which took place east of Beit Hanoun.
