Imprisoned Palestinian terrorists and terrorist families who might have been feeling anxious about receiving their monthly stipends were reassured by PA leader Rami Hamdallah on Sunday that the money would arrive Sunday or Monday, according to Kan news.

Senior PA official Hussein al-Sheikh said that salaries would be paid today, and that they “are at the top of the list of priorities.”

The comments come after the Israeli cabinet approved implementation of the freeze on funds to the Palestinian Authority equal to the sums disbursed by the PA to terrorists and their families.
