The family of the Skulener Rebbe, shlita, have requested that Klal Yisrael increase their tefillos on the Rebbe’s behalf.

The condition of the Rebbe, who has been hospitalized for the last few weeks, took a turn for the worse over Shabbos.

The Rebbe, in Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, has been suffering for months from an infection in the lungs. The medical staff suggested that the family, including a daughter living in Eretz Yisrael, come to his bedside. His daughter, Rebbetzin Stern of Bnei Brak, left Eretz Yisrael early Sunday.

On Sunday, the Rebbe was placed on a respirator, to help enhance his breathing.

All are urged to continue to daven and increase limud haTorah for the refuah sheleimah of Harav Yisrael Avraham ben Sheina Rochel, b’soch she’ar cholei Yisrael.
