Man Who Made Numerous ‘Swatting’ Hoax Calls Arrested

TRENTON – Police on Friday captured a man who made numerous phony emergency “swatting” calls for more than a year, The Associated Press reported. Treyvon Holt, 22, faces 17 charges for the false calls of shots fired, children not breathing, armed home invasions and burglaries in progress.

Judge Who Admitted Tix-Fix Faces Potential Disbarment

TRENTON – A municipal judge who falsified records as part of a five-year ticket-fixing scheme was recommended for disbarment, the Asbury Park Press reported. The state Office of Attorney Ethics said Richard Thompson downgraded 4,000 fines to contempt of court.
