Shin Bet Busts Terror Cell That Wounded Baby

(TPS News) —

The Shin Bet revealed Thursday that it arrested three terrorists who threw rocks at cars, wounding a baby.

The Arabs threw rocks at Israeli vehicles traveling on Route 60 between Kiryat Arba and Karmei Tzur on Dec. 18, and lightly injured a nine-month-old baby as well as causing damage to several cars.

The Shin Bet launched a quick investigation into the attack and tracked down the terrorists whom they arrested last month.

The terror cell included two minors aged 17, and all three came from the Arab village of Sa’ir in the Chevron area.

Their questioning exposed the fact that they had been involved in the attack on the Israeli vehicles.

The findings of the investigation were transferred to the IDF’s Attorney General’s Office, and the three will be indicted in the coming days.

The Shin Bet “will continue to act to thwart terrorism and will operate to bring those involved in terrorism to justice,” it stated.
