Syria Claims Air Defenses Intercepted Missiles Near Damascus

YERUSHALAYIM -

Syria activated its air defenses and intercepted missiles near Damascus, Syrian state media claimed on Tuesday night.

Kan reporter Amichai Stein wrote that this is a “possible strike in west Damascus…heard all across the city.”

Meanwhile, the Lebanese National News Agency said Tuesday that the Israeli Air Force had conducted operations over southern Lebanon, causing sonic booms in the area. The Israeli planes were said to be crossing Lebanese airspace to reach targets in Syria.
