On Sunday, November 25, the Passaic Clifton Community Kollel, under the tireless leadership of Rosh Kollel, Rabbi Chaim Krause, celebrated the chanukas habayis of its own beis medrash in Clifton. Until now, the kollel was housed in different local mosdos, but it was clearly time for the very active kollel to have its own facility.
The chanukas habayis was privileged to have the participation of Harav Meir Stern, shlita, Rosh Yeshivah of Yeshiva Gedola of Passaic, and other local Rabbanim. The event began with Minchah, followed by a kabbalas panim. Rabbi Krause thanked everyone for their participation in creating the new physical home for the kollel.
Divrei brachah and chizuk were delivered by Harav Shmuel Kamenetsky, shlita, Rosh Yeshivah of the Philadelphia Yeshiva; Harav Dovid Schustal, shlita, Rosh Yeshivah of Beth Medrash Govoha; Harav Avrohom Schorr, Mara d’Asra of Beis Medrash Nezer Gedalyahu and Harav Tzvi Sobolovsky, Rosh Yeshivah of Yeshivas Rabbeinu Yitzchak Elchanan. The program concluded with a celebratory rikud.
The participants at the event look forward to the kollel’s continued success in harbotzas haTorah within the Passaic/Clifton Jewish community.
