The IDF moved in to quell a Palestinian riot of about 1,000 people at the Gaza border fence on Monday.

The Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry said three people were wounded by Israeli gunfire during the disorders, in which protesters threw rocks at soldiers on the Israeli side of the security fence, according to The Times of Israel.

The IDF confirmed that live fire was used in some cases, along with tear gas, in order to put down the riot.
