Rocket Explodes in Empty Shaar Hanegev Kindergarten Causes Damage to Building

A rocket launched by Gaza terrorists exploded on Tuesday morning, in a kindergarten in the Shaar Hanegev Council Region.

B’chasdei Shamayim, no casualties were reported, as the children were told to stay home from school for the day.

There was some damage caused to the building.

Throughout the morning, incoming rocket sirens sounded in the Eshkol region. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

Meanwhile, dozens of families have left communities near the Gaza Strip in light of the ongoing barrage, which shows little sign of coming to an end in the immediate future.

A spokesperson for the Sha’ar Hanegev region said that approximately 60 families have left the area.
