Boro Park Burglary Suspect Arrested
The NYPD has arrested a man suspected of a string of burglaries in Boro Park during the past several weeks.
The suspect has been identified as Charles Cajigas, a homeless 50-year-old. He was charged with burglary, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal trespass. He has 10 prior arrests, mostly for burglary.
The suspect is believed to have carried out a number of burglaries in Boro Park, in late September and early October. He stole Sefer Torah Crowns from Belzer shtiebel, ransacked lockers at Seret-Vizhnitz, and stole a substantial amount of cash at several other locations.
