Bnos Agudas Yisroel Ahavas Kayla Rus Opening Event
Over 100 girls joined the Bnos Agudas Yisroel Ahavas Kayla Rus’ exciting opening event. It was organized by Bnos heads Miss Shalva Winiarz and Miss Goldy Gruber, kicking off a new season of Shabbos Bnos groups.
After registering, the girls decorated colorful tote bags with the Bnos logo and slogan, “Bnos — the place to be.” Each girl filled up her bag with a snack and candy.
The girls then enjoyed a fun game, where each group decorated a cake as similarly as possible to the sample cake. Afterwards, the girls learned a brand-new dance, taught by Miss Avigayil Winiarz and Miss Elisheva Winiarz. As always, everyone enjoyed dancing and doing the motions to the Bnos song. The event ended with a raffle of exciting prizes.
After a busy afternoon of setting up, leading their groups and cleaning up, group leaders were treated to pizza and a game at Dairy Palace.
Girls aged kindergarten-sixth grade are invited to join Bnos each Shabbos afternoon at Agudas Yisroel of Staten Island, 46 Birchard Ave, from 2-3 pm.
