Veteran Convicted of Threatening Congressman, His Staff
CAMDEN, N.J. – A veteran was convicted Wednesday of threatening a New Jersey congressman and his staff after reaching out to them for help with his medical treatment, The Associated Press reported. Joseph Brodie, 39, threatened to assault and kill Republican Rep. Frank LoBiondo in September 2017.
Malfunctioning Power Strip Caused Fire That Killed 5 Kids
UNION CITY, N.J. – A malfunctioning power strip sparked a house fire in July that killed five children, according to a report from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives made public on Thursday. The children were all asleep in a third-floor apartment when the fire broke out.
