Terrorist Who Attacked Soldiers in Kalkilye Eliminated

IDF soldiers eliminated a terrorist who threw a firebomb at them as they were on a mission in the Arab city of Kalkilye, located near Kfar Sava. The soldiers were seeking a suspect who was to be arrested on terror charges when the terrorist threw a firebomb at them. Soldiers responded by shooting the terrorist. Soldiers administered medical assistance to the terrorist, but he died of his wounds a short time later. There were no injuries to Israeli forces.

IDF soldiers overnight Wednesday discovered and dismantled a weapons cache that was stored in a house in the village of Kafr Raboud, in the Binyamin region. Several weapons and associated materials, including ammunition, were removed. The residents of the house were arrested and questioned on the source of the weapons.

Overnight Wednesday, security officials said they arrested 13 wanted security suspects in other areas in Yehudah and Shomron. The suspects were wanted for participating in rioting and throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. Several of the suspects were also charged with belonging to Hamas. All were being questioned on their activities by security forces.
