Gaza Terror Balloons Land in Schoolyards; No Injuries

Police sappers were called to tend to two incendiary balloons that landed in schoolyards in southern Israel, Tuesday.

The first landed in the yard of an empty elementary school in the Eshkol Regional Council and was neutralized by local security forces, while the second landed in the yard of a kindergarten in a community in the Sdot Negev Regional Council, which was full of students at the time.

B’chasdei Shamayim, there were no injuries and the device was also safely neutralized.

Later Tuesday, an Israeli army aircraft struck a Palestinian cell launching incendiary balloons from the northern Gaza Strip.

According to local reports, two teenagers were injured in the strike carried out by a drone near the city of Jabaliya.
