Three IDF Soldiers Injured in Vehicle-Ramming Attack Near Beitar

Three IDF soldiers were injured Motzoei Shabbos in a vehicle-ramming attack near Beitar Illit. The incident occurred in the Arab village of Husan, located near the town. The three soldiers were on foot patrol in the area, when an Arab driving a truck sped up and hit them. One of the soldiers was moderately injured. IDF soldiers were hunting down the culprit Motzoei Shabbos.

In the Gaza border area, firefighters battled 26 blazes caused by terror kites and balloons flown by Gaza terrorists. Terrorists have now begun attaching bombs to the kites and balloons as well. On Friday, a balloon with a bomb attached was found in a kibbutz in the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council. The bomb was neutralized. Several other suspicious balloons were neutralized as well. On Friday, firefighters doused 10 fires in the Gaza border area.

Riots took place at four separate areas on the Gaza border fence, with Arabs throwing rocks and firebombs at Israeli soldiers, who responded with anti-riot measures. Gaza sources said that 44 rioters were injured, seven of them seriously.
