Report: IDF Holding Remains of Brother and Sister Gaza Terrorists

A report suggested that the IDF is in possession of the body of a terrorist who was killed at the Gaza border fence Monday night – who is the brother of a terrorist who was killed just several days earlier. The terrorists, who have not been named, were both killed after they attacked IDF troops – in the case of Monday’s terrorist, with an ax.

Channel 20 news reported that a Red Cross official has petitioned the government for the release of the bodies of both terrorists. According to a ruling by the High Court last week, The state must inform the public that it intends to release the bodies of terrorists 72 hours before it does. The ruling came in response to a petition by the family of kidnapped IDF soldier Hadar Goldin, after the state attempted earlier last week to release the body of a terrorist who had died in an Israeli hospital.
