Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman will next week approve the immediate construction of 2,500 new homes in communities in Yehudah and Shomron, and sign planning permits to advance the construction of another 400 homes, his office announced Thursday. The approvals are part of the government’s policies of advancing construction in Jewish towns in Yehudah and Shomron.

The homes will be built in over 30 communities in Yehudah and Shomron. Among the communities where immediate construction will begin are Ariel (400 homes), Maale Adumim (460), Kiryat Arba (150), Avnei Chefetz (130), Talmon (180), Kfar Etzion (160) and Neve Daniel (170).

“We promised to advance construction in Yehudah and Shomron and we are fulfilling that promise,” Liberman’s office said Thursday. “Construction on the 2,500 homes we will authorize for construction next week will begin immediately, and in the coming months we will authorize construction of thousands of more homes. We will continue to develop Yehudah and Shomron with actions, not just words.”
