Israeli forces fired at five Gaza Arabs who approached the border fence overnight Tuesday. The incident occurred in the southern Gaza Strip. Officials said that at least one of the Gazans had been hit. In a statement, the IDF said that it had mitigated a terrorist plot to place bombs along the border fence, which were to be detonated when Israeli forces were in the area.

IDF soldiers and Israel Police raided a weapons workshop in a village outside Jenin overnight Tuesday. Components for weapons, some manufactured on site and some brought in from other places, were seized. Several weapons that had been manufactured in the workshop were seized as well. One person was arrested, and other arrests are expected.

Overnight Tuesday, security officials said they arrested a wanted security suspect in Yehudah and Shomron. The suspect was wanted for participating in rioting and throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. He was being questioned on his activities by security forces.
