Hamburg Police Make Arrest in Hamburg Subway Explosion

BERLIN (AP) —

Police say they’ve arrested a 51-year-old German man on allegations that he detonated a bag with illegal firecrackers in a Hamburg subway station.

Police released no further information about the suspect. Germany’s Bild newspaper identified him as Stephan K., a Hamburg resident with a previous conviction and ties to neo-Nazi groups.
