NYPD Looking for Man Who Vandalized Bay Ridge Mosque
The New York City Police Department is looking for a man who vandalized a mosque in Bay Ridge.
Surveillance video shows the man using a hammer to smash windows and a camera at the Islamic Center located at 6224 6th Avenue, at 5:20 p.m. Saturday.
The suspect is described as a male Asian. During the crime, he was wearing a black hooded coat, blue jeans and white sneakers.
Anyone with information with regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be submitted to the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting the tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
