Two small IDF drones crashed on Monday for as yet unclear reasons, the army said. They have both been recovered.

One of the drones landed in Chevron, while the other drone landed in Beit Lechem.

In a statement, the IDF said there is no risk that intelligence could have been gleaned from the Elbit Systems’ Skylark drones.

As a result of the crashes, the head of IDF Ground Forces, Maj. Gen. Kobi Barak, grounded the entire fleet of Skylark drones until an investigation can be completed.

A number of similar incidents occurred over the summer in which drones crashed in Yehudah and Shomron.
