The yahrtzeit of the Stefanest Rebbe, Harav Avraham Matisyahu Friedman, zy”a, a scion of the Ruzhiner dynasty, was marked on Shabbos, 21 Tammuz.
Throughout the course of Friday, Motzoei Shabbos and Sunday, tens of thousands are set to travel to daven at the kever of the Rebbe. His kever, at the Nachalat Yitzchak cemetery in Givatayim where numerous other Rebbes of the Ruzhiner dynasty are also interred, is known as a place of yeshuos.
