IDF soldiers were the targets of several firebomb attacks overnight Tuesday. Soldiers were attacked in the Par’ah refugee camp in the Shechem area as they were trying to make an arrest. There were no soldiers injured in that attack. Soldiers operating in the Silwan area of Yerushalayim were also attacked by firebomb-wielding terrorists. No soldiers were injured in that incident either. Several suspects were caught and arrested.

Soldiers operating in the Chevron area discovered a cache of weapons, including firebombs and pipe bombs. Soldiers confiscated the weapons, and they are being tested to determine if they were used in terror attacks, the army said.

Overnight Tuesday, security officials said they arrested eight wanted security suspects in other areas in Yehudah and Shomron. The suspects were wanted for participating in rioting and throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. Several of the suspects were also charged with belonging to Hamas. All were being questioned on their activities by security forces.
