Metropolitan Police have appealed for help in finding a French man who is missing since the terror attack in London on Saturday night.

Xavier Thomas, 45, was last seen walking over London Bridge with a friend, when the white van began ramming into people. His friend was seriously injured,  but there has been no sign of Thomas since the incident. According to the police, “Witness accounts suggest that it is possible that Xavier was struck by the van that resulted in him being thrown into the River Thames.”

The Police added, “Specialist officers from the Marine Police Unit and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) have been searching the river since the night of the attack.”
