NYPD Seek Gunman Who Shot 4 in Chelsea and Fled on Bicycle

Police are looking for a gunman who shot four men early Saturday morning in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood before fleeing on a bicycle.

The shooting happened at 3:25 a.m. on West 14th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues.

Police say the shooter approached the four men, firing multiple times before fleeing on a bicycle.

One victim suffered gunshot wounds to the arms and torso; a second victim took a shot in the back; a third had wounds to the torso and arm; and a fourth had a graze wound to the back.

The first three victims were transported to Bellevue Hospital, while the fourth refused medical attention.

The block of West 14th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues was closed for much of the morning while police investigated.
