A young Palestinian was caught attempting to infiltrate into Alon Moreh in the Shomron on Wednesday afternoon and was taken into police custody for questioning.

Security forces conducted an hours-long search for another Palestinian believed to have been with the one arrested. He apparently escaped, however.

It was not immediately known what the intentions of the two Palestinians were.

Meanwhile on Wednesday, rioting continued across Yehudah and Shomron, including stone-throwing attacks on IDF soldiers, Israeli buses and cars. In some places, signs were held up by protesters declaring solidarity with Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike.

Overnight Tuesday, security forces arrested 15 persons wanted for terrorist activity and rioting in raids conducted in Yehudah and Shomron.

During an operation directed at Hamas infrastructure in Chevron, a Hamas agent was apprehended with 20,000 shekels in his possession for the purpose of making payments to terrorists and their families.

In addition, the IDF confiscated a workshop for illegal weapons-making.
